Travel Beauty Must-Haves

Hey everyone and welcome back! As you may already know, Marty and I have been travelling around on an Australian adventure. This is the first time I’ve been away for two weeks and packing has proven to be difficult in every aspect! Keep reading to find what beauty essentials have been most important to me while on this trip!

1. Moroccanoil Treatment

This little beauty is a life saver and I take it whenever I travel! It is especially important when I’m spending a lot of time outside in the elements (mainly the sun) as it helps keep your hair super moisturized! All I do I rub a quarter size amount from the mid-shaft to ends of my hair before I do any type of heat styling.

2. Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

I’m not going to lie, when I travel I don’t usually bring shampoo and conditioner ๐Ÿ™ˆ I only wash my hair one to two times per week, so if I’m just going away for the weekend, I wash it right before I go and it lasts me until I get home. I figured I better bring some shampoo since we have so many different things planned. This Moroccanoil Moisture Repair shampoo & conditioner is amazing! It’s so hydrating and moisturizing on my brittle blonde head of hair – it’s definitely a must! Speaking of being blonde, I also packed my Fanola No Yellow shampoo & Fabuloso Platinum conditioner to maintain my colour while I’m away!

3. Dry Shampoo

Can we say miracle in a bottle? For those days I don’t feel like actually shampooing this guy is a life saver! The one I brought with me is by the brand Amika and it smells like a tropical paradise ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

4. Bronzer

On the days where I don’t want to wear a ton of makeup but still want to look like I fit in with the locals, I load on the bronzer! My favourites right now are The Balm Bahama Mama and Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer which ACTUALLY smells (and tastes ๐Ÿ™Š) like chocolate, people.

5. Versatile Eyeshadow Palette

The tarte Tartlette in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette is the perfect palette to travel with! It has the right amount of neutral shades with a few pops of colour. This one also has a couple of shimmery shades that are easy to pop on your lid for some extra oomph. I am able to create a natural daytime look or deepen things up for the evening with this palette.

6. Nude Lip Colours

These are a staple when vacationing! You can pair a nude lip with any type of eye look. My favourite ones to bring along are Magic Wand by Colourpop (satin finish-long wearing), Sugar Sugar by Marc Jacobs (gloss), and the one pictured, Kylie Cosmetics x Kim Kardashian West Liquid Creme Lip in Kimberley.

7. Sun Screen

I never used to take the sun seriously. Just recently I’ve become way more aware of how much the sun affects my skin so I’ve decided to take the right precautions to protect it! I found this Hawaiian Tropic BB sunscreen at my local Shoppers Drug Mart and I am really loving it! It doesn’t have the sticky or tacky feeling that some sun screens do. It is also more of a nude or flesh tone so it doesn’t leave a white cast on your skin.

I hope you guys enjoyed reading up on my must-haves for travelling! We are currently in Sydney for Marty’s conference and will be here for 5 more days. Stay tuned for an update on our travels!

Can we also just appreciate this view that I got to do my work from in Surfer’s Paradise?! That place was amazing ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

Thanks for reading!
